Privacy Policy for AudioPilot

This Privacy Policy explains how AudioPilot (“AudioPilot”, “the app”) handles information when you use the application.

AudioPilot is developed and provided by Express Buy OÜ, Estonia.

1. Overview

AudioPilot is an Android application that allows users to create and manage sound profiles and apply them manually or automatically based on schedules and configured locations.

AudioPilot is designed to operate primarily on the user's device. The app does not require a user account.

2. Information handled by AudioPilot

AudioPilot may process the following information on your device:

• sound profile settings created or modified by the user;
• names assigned to profiles;
• schedules configured by the user;
• locations and geofence coordinates configured for location-based automation;
• application preferences and settings;
• diagnostic information generated locally by the app;
• backup and export data created by the user.

This information is used to provide the features of AudioPilot.

3. Location data

Location-based automation is an optional core feature of AudioPilot.

If you enable this feature, AudioPilot uses device location data to create and monitor geographic areas (geofences) configured by you. This allows AudioPilot to automatically apply a selected sound profile when you enter or leave a configured area.

AudioPilot may access location in the background, including when the app is closed or not in use, because Android must be able to detect entry into or exit from a configured geofence while AudioPilot is not visible on the screen.

Location access is used only for location-based automation and related configuration.

AudioPilot does not use location data for advertising, marketing, user profiling, or analytics.

AudioPilot does not maintain a history of the places you visit.

You can choose not to enable location-based automation. You can also revoke location permission at any time through Android system settings. Location-based automation will not function without the required location permission.

4. Storage and processing of data

AudioPilot stores its application data locally on your Android device.

AudioPilot does not provide an AudioPilot cloud account and does not operate a server for storing your sound profiles, schedules, or location automation configuration.

If you use AudioPilot's backup or export functionality, the exported file may contain information that you configured in the app, including geofence coordinates. You control where such exported files are stored or shared.

5. Third-party services

AudioPilot uses Android platform services and third-party components necessary to provide certain application features.

Location-based functionality uses Android and Google Play services location capabilities, including geofencing.

Map functionality may use OpenStreetMap data and related map components.

Address or location search may use geocoding services available to the application or device.

These services may process technical or location-related information according to their own applicable privacy policies and terms.

AudioPilot does not use third-party advertising SDKs.

AudioPilot does not use location data for advertising.

6. Analytics and advertising

AudioPilot does not contain advertising.

AudioPilot does not use advertising identifiers for advertising purposes.

AudioPilot does not currently use third-party analytics or crash-reporting services to build user profiles or track users across apps or websites.

7. Sale of personal data

Express Buy OÜ does not sell personal data collected through AudioPilot.

8. Data sharing

AudioPilot does not intentionally transmit your profiles, schedules, or configured geofence data to Express Buy OÜ.

Information may be processed by Android, Google Play services, mapping, geocoding, or other system services when necessary to perform functionality requested by the user.

Data may also leave the device when you explicitly export, back up, or share a file yourself.

9. Data retention and deletion

Application data is generally retained locally on your device for as long as it is needed by AudioPilot.

You can delete profiles, schedules, location automations, and other user-configurable data through the app where the corresponding deletion function is available.

Uninstalling AudioPilot removes application data according to Android's application data management and backup behavior.

User-created export or backup files stored outside the app's private storage may remain until you delete them yourself.

10. Permissions

Depending on the features you use, AudioPilot may request Android permissions necessary to provide those features.

Location permissions, including background location where applicable, are requested for location-based automation.

AudioPilot requests permissions only for application functionality and does not use location permission for advertising or marketing.

11. Children's privacy

AudioPilot is a general-purpose utility application and is not specifically designed or directed at children.

12. Security

Reasonable measures are taken in the design of AudioPilot to limit access to information to what is necessary for application functionality.

No method of electronic storage or processing can guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when AudioPilot's functionality, data practices, legal requirements, or third-party services change.

The current version will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
