This Privacy Policy explains how PayClock (“PayClock”, “the app”) handles information when you use the application.
PayClock is developed and provided by Express Buy OÜ, Estonia.
1. Overview
PayClock is an Android application for tracking work time, shifts, breaks, jobs, pay rates, pay rules, expected earnings, and paycheck-related records.
PayClock is designed to operate primarily on the user's device. The app does not require a PayClock user account.
2. Information handled by PayClock
PayClock may process and store information necessary to provide its functionality, including:
This information is used to provide PayClock's work-tracking, calculation, history, backup, export, and subscription features.
3. Work and pay data
Work records and pay-related information entered into PayClock are primarily stored locally on the user's Android device.
PayClock uses this information to calculate and display work duration, expected earnings, pay-period totals, and other results requested by the user.
PayClock does not use job names, work history, pay rates, earnings, notes, or paycheck records for advertising or user profiling.
4. Time and device settings
PayClock uses device-provided date, time, time-zone, locale, and related system settings as necessary to record and display work information and perform calculations.
This information is used for application functionality and is not used for advertising or cross-app tracking.
5. Storage, backup, restore, and export
PayClock stores application data primarily on your Android device.
The app can create local backup and CSV export files at the user's request and can restore compatible PayClock backup data selected by the user.
Files exported or backed up by the user may contain work and pay information. The user controls where those files are stored, copied, or shared after creation.
PayClock does not provide a PayClock cloud account for storing your work history.
6. Google Play subscriptions
PayClock offers an optional auto-renewing subscription through Google Play.
Purchase transactions are processed by Google Play. Express Buy OÜ does not receive or store your full payment card or banking details through PayClock.
The app may receive and process information from Google Play necessary to determine subscription status, provide subscription entitlement, acknowledge eligible purchases, and restore an eligible subscription.
Google's handling of purchase and payment information is governed by Google's applicable privacy policies and terms.
7. Third-party services
PayClock uses Android platform services and Google Play services necessary to provide application functionality, including Google Play Billing for subscriptions.
These services may process technical or transaction-related information according to their own applicable privacy policies and terms.
PayClock does not use third-party advertising SDKs.
8. Analytics and advertising
PayClock does not contain advertising.
PayClock does not use advertising identifiers for advertising purposes.
PayClock does not use work or pay records to build advertising profiles or track users across apps or websites.
9. Sale of personal data
Express Buy OÜ does not sell personal data collected through PayClock.
10. Data sharing
PayClock does not intentionally transmit your locally stored job names, work history, pay rates, earnings, notes, or paycheck records to Express Buy OÜ as part of its core work-tracking functionality.
Information may be processed by Android, Google Play, or other system services when necessary to perform functionality requested by the user, including subscription processing and file operations initiated by the user.
11. Data retention and deletion
Application data is generally retained locally on your device until you edit or delete it, restore different data, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app, subject to Android's application data and backup behavior.
Backup and CSV files created outside the app remain under the user's control and may remain after the app is uninstalled.
Purchase records and transaction information maintained by Google Play are subject to Google's own retention policies.
12. Permissions
PayClock may request or use Android permissions and system capabilities necessary for its functionality, including Internet access for Google Play Billing and notification capabilities for work-tracking reminders and active-shift functionality.
PayClock does not require access to your contacts, microphone, or camera for its current core functionality.
Permissions and system capabilities are used only as necessary to provide application features.
13. Children's privacy
PayClock is a general-purpose work and pay utility application and is not specifically designed or directed at children.
14. Security
Reasonable measures are taken in the design of PayClock to limit access to information to what is necessary for application functionality.
No method of electronic storage, network communication, or processing can guarantee absolute security.
Users should protect exported CSV and backup files because those files may contain work and pay information.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when PayClock's functionality, data practices, legal requirements, or third-party services change.
The current version will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
